Sales from eBooks were down by 10.2 percent in January 2015, as compared to the same period in 2014, according to The Association of American Publishers (AAP)'s latest StatShot.
A drop in eBook sales, led to a 1.6 percent decline in the Children/Young Adult category despite gains in other formats. Paperback book sales were up 10.9 percent and board book sales increased 34.1 percent in Jan. 2015, but the 37.4 percent decrease in eBook sales caused the category's decline.
