The print value adding chain is changing
Developments such as crossmedia, apps, content management, workflow and software systems are increasingly becoming part of the production process. This requires complete digital printing solutions, and Océ and manroland are the first in the market to offer these, with digital and offset printing joining forces. The services provided by the partners range from business consulting through to implementation and ongoing support of the entire production cycle. These contain a combination of print and data management, workflows, digital and offset printing, plus finishing and logistics. Customers benefit from individualized solutions along the entire value adding chain in industrial-scale printing.
World's first total digital solution for high-performance printing
With the aid of interactive and multimedia presentations, visitors to the Océ, manroland and ppi Media stand can experience digital product innovations. This will focus on the world's first total digital solution from Océ and manroland, which features the networking of digital and offset workflows plus the system components for digital printing developed and integrated by manroland (e.g. format-variable fold), along with logistics solutions. The results of this development work are products from the publications and commercial printing sectors that will make the benefits of the new digital printing dimension plain to the show visitors. The presentation will focus on the advantages and synergies of digital and offset printing and demonstrate the intelligent combination of highest quality with maximum individuality. New system solutions for trouble-free digital handling of ads as well as editorial content in print, online and mobile emphasize the groundbreaking core expertise of ppi Media.
