Press Release: Colborne Communications Acquires Crowdfunding Site Pubslush
Thursday, August 20 – TORONTO – Colborne Communications is excited to announce that it has acquired the book crowdfunding site Pubslush as of Monday, August 24, 2015. Pubslush will continue to take submissions for all book crowdfunding and pre-order campaigns.
Since 1977, Colborne Communications has provided a variety of editing, design and project management services for publishers across North America. It also provides a full range of services to self-publishing authors, from initial planning to worldwide distribution of ebooks and print on demand hardcovers and paperbacks. Just about the only publishing-related service Colborne couldn’t provide was crowdfunding — until now.
Pubslush co-founders, Hellen and Amanda Barbara, want to thank the community for their constant support over the last 3 years. They are excited about this new energy and looking forward to seeing Pubslush continue to grow and bring thousands of books to life. Greg Ioannou, who is a founder of Colborne Communications, the Editors’ Association of Canada, and various other publishing-related ventures, will become the president of Pubslush.
