Top Women in Book Publishing

Book Business‘ annual “Top Women in Book Publishing” feature honors leading female executives in all facets of the industry, from business management, digital, and production and manufacturing to editorial and marketing, among others. These leaders also represent various segments of book publishing, including trade, educational, STM, university press and others.

Each year, women are selected by Book Business with input from the magazine’s advisory board and other industry constituents. Nominations are also received from Book Business readers.

Women are considered for this honor based on several factors, including their current position and scope of responsibility; career history; career accomplishments and achievements; and involvement in the industry, such as service to industry associations. To nominate a female executive for the “Top Women in Book Publishing” honor, or if you have any questions, e-mail Noelle Skodzinski, editorial director, at
