Toronto, ON - July 6, 2015 - Wattpad, the world's largest community of readers and writers, and Harlequin, one of the world's most recognizable names in romance, have teamed up for the 2015 So You Think You Can Write (SYTYCW) contest. For the first time ever, the annual romance writing competition has launched on Wattpad, with writers around the world able to submit their manuscript on Wattpad for a chance to win a two-book publishing deal with Harlequin.
Harlequin is offering its readers in the US and Canada rewards such as autographed books via a new rewards program.
Readers can sign up to Harlequin My Rewards via the dedicated website www.harlequinmyrewards.com and earn rewards by buying books or sharing book information, including book reviews, online. As well as books, rewards include gift baskets and Skype conversations with Harlequin authors.

In light of recent news that ebook sales have actually decreased in the U.S., ebook retailers are looking for new avenues to encourage greater ebook adoption. Kobo, the Canadian-based ebook platform and retailer, has created a new partnership with the American Booksellers Association (ABA) in the hopes of converting avid print readers into lifelong ebook consumers.
More audiobook news this week -- Harlequin and HarperCollins announced yesterday the launch of a new imprint, Harlequin Audio. The imprint will release its first batch of audiobooks on June 30th and is planning a list of 200 titles for the year, all of which are existing Harlequin titles.
