A children’s book publisher herself, Bodour—founding CEO of Kalimat—has told Publishing Perspectives, “Our youthful population and consumers are demanding more locally produced, culturally appropriate books—and digital content in Arabic. A number of publishing and content companies have emerged, but the sector still faces critical gaps in complementary creative areas.”
