2010 Publishing Business Conference & Expo Call for Speakers
In order to put together another visionary, industry-leading conference program, we are looking for qualified speakers to share their expertise in a wide range of publishing areas including:
• Sales and Business Development
• Digital and E-media
• Production and Manufacturing
• Marketing and Promotion
• Audience Development
• Workflow
• Distribution
• Social Media
• Emerging Technology
Call for Speakers Procedure
All submissions must be e-mailed to Matt Steinmetz, conference program editor, at msteinmetz@napco.com. For your submission to be considered, it must be received by Friday, Sept. 11.
As the vast majority of our speakers each year are book and magazine publishing executives, we are particularly interested in professionals currently working at publishing companies. If you're a vendor or consultant who serves these markets, we ask that you include a publishing client as a co-speaker in any speaker proposal.
Please include the following in your proposal:
• a tentative name for the session
• a 1-2 paragraph description of the session and what attendees can expect to learn
• the name, title and company of the speakers(s)
• the speaker's bio
Please note that all speakers selected to present are entitled to a complimentary full conference registration.
Have Another Idea? Let's Hear It!
The subject areas above are only intended to scratch the surface. We're open to other ideas, too. If you have an idea for a speaker other than yourself or a topic you'd like to see at the Publishing Business Conference & Expo, just send an e-mail to Matt Steinmetz at msteinmetz@napco.com.
