(PRESS RELEASE) The Book Industry Guild of New York invites you to enter your publication in the 26th Annual New York Book Show. This event honors, celebrates, and encourages excellence in book design, production, and manufacturing. Entries submitted must have been published between Jan. 1, 2011, and Dec. 31, 2011.
You may enter a book, book series, cover/jacket, or cover/jacket series. All book entries will be judged on interior and exterior quality.
Five categories recognize the intended use of the book as well as the demands, constraints, challenges, and opportunities that exist in each category: Children’s Trade, General Trade, Professional, School Publishing, and Special Trade.
HOW TO ENTER
Complete an online entry form for each item submitted. The complete instructions, rules, and forms are available at our website www.bookindustryguildofny.org.
Entries must be received between Mon., Nov. 7 , and Thu., Nov. 10. Entries received outside the submission period will not be considered for judging.
Please note: You may fill out an online entry form any time, but submission can only be received between Nov. 7 and Nov. 10.
Books entered cannot be returned.
