Press Release: BiblioBoard Partners with ePub Direct, Independent Publishers Group, CoreSource and Firebrand
BiblioBoard announces new partnerships with four major content delivery services: ePubDirect, Independent Publishers Group, CoreSource and Firebrand Technologies. These partnerships will better serve current and future publisher partners by creating a seamless file delivery process from the publishers to BiblioBoard.
ePub Direct, one of the companies partnering with BiblioBoard, is very excited about this new offering for its publisher clients. Patrick Crowley, Digital Content Marketing Manager, says, "Adding new sales channels to our platform is of strategic importance, and we spend a lot of time engaging with publishers to find out what their priorities are for new territories and markets." Crowley notes that publishers sometimes find the library market frustrating because of complex business models and delivery structures, but "BiblioBoard is a refreshing new entrant, and they're really being innovative and publisher focused. We are thrilled to be able to work with them-plus, they are great to deal with."
Jonah Canter, Director of Publisher Relations at BiblioBoard, shares this enthusiasm. "These new partnerships open BiblioBoard Library up to new publishers, and it also presents a new opportunity for these content distributors to work with-and for-their clients." Canter also notes that this is good news for publishers. "It facilitates a simpler process so that we can engage publishers in a pain-free experience, from start to finish."
Anthologies on BiblioBoard are sold to school, public and academic libraries all over the world for unlimited, multi-user access on mobile devices and the web. Over 2,500 libraries-and growing-use BiblioBoard, so publishers enjoy incremental sales channels in a variety of markets. Canter says some publishers who partner with the above distributors have already experienced the easy process. "So far, these new partnerships have proven instrumental in taking our process to the next level. We look forward to continued success."
These partnerships with content aggregators open BiblioBoard up to over 530,000 books.
