The latest e-book reader to hit the market -- Ditto Book -- is not named for its remarkably similar look to the Kindle, but rather because it stands for Digital Interface Total Text Organizer.
Recently launched with a retail price of $249, Ditto Book shares a few characteristics with the Kindle, including its white casing, similar shape, and a 6-inch e-ink display, but does not offer wireless capability. It plays mp3 files and, unlike the Kindle, supports ePub, the open-source format supported by other e-readers like the Cool-ER.
Ditto Book is currently available for purchase at www.dittobook.com.
