Bill Kasdorf is Vice President and principal consultant of Apex Content Solutions and the general editor of The Columbia Guide to Digital Publishing. An active member of the IDPF EPUB 3 Working Group and chair of the BISG Content Structure Committee, he is the author of the “Packaging and Metadata” chapter of O’Reilly’s EPUB 3 Best Practices book, as well as numerous other articles and presentations on EPUB, XML and related topics. He is the recipient of the Distinguished Service Award from the Society for Scholarly Publishing and a 2013 Luminaire Award recipient from IDEAlliance.
