Fry Wins Gold Award in 2012 Sappi North American Printers of the Year Competition
6/7/12 – Fry Communications won the coveted Gold Award in Sappi’s North American Printers of the Year competition for 2012, sponsored by Sappi Fine Papers.
Fry’s outstanding production of Style.com, published by Conde Nast, merited gold in the “Magazines – web offset” category.
A group of publishing and communication executives across the country served as the panel of judges, who unanimously chose one gold winner in each of ten categories from the nearly 2,000 entries. Fry Communications will now be entered into the 2013 Sappi International Printers of the Year awards.
“Winning this Gold Printer of the Year Award validates the investments we’ve made in training, technology, and services over the past few years. It is an honor to be recognized as one of the best from the prestigious pool of printing companies in North America,” said Steve Grande, Vice President of Sales.
“This award is a reflection of the dedication of our craftspeople as well as the outstanding work of the Style.com staff,” said Henry Fry, Chairman of the Board. “We are thrilled to receive this award.”
