Arnaud Nourry, CEO of Hachette Livre, the world's second-largest book publisher, is concerned that publishers will be forced to make drastic price cuts to their hardcover books, as a result of Amazon's $9.99 e-book pricing strategy and Google's digital library.
He predicts that prices on most books will eventually have to fall somewhere between zero and the $9.99 Amazon is currently getting for new releases.
