The literary world has lost three titans in the last week.
Else Holmelund Minarik, whose Little Bear picture books delighted generations of children, passed away last week at her Sunset Beach, N.C., home at the age of 91.
Last week we also lost Donald J. Sobol, the beautiful mind behind boy detective Encyclopedia Brown. He passed away in Miami at the age of 87 of lymphoma according to his family.
Yesterday Stephen R. Covey, the author of 1989's "7 Habits of Highly Effective People," died at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho, of complications of a bicycle accident sustained three months ago in Utah.
All were innovators, and all will be missed.
