Internal Restructuring Readies Datasystem Solutions for the Future
[Press Release, Overland Park, Kan.] — Datasystem Solutions, Inc. (DSI) has recently made some significant personnel changes. A series of promotions, a new employee and an added department help DSI continue to provide the quality service customers have come to expect from the company.
Longtime president Gay Manning has been promoted from President to Chief Executive Officer, while Lorna Fenimore has been named President and Chief Operating Officer. In addition to these promotions, Nancy Spear, who has been with company since 1981, is now the new Chief Technology Officer.
DSI has also added a dedicated Quality Control Department. The new group is led by Jan Sutton, the Director of Quality Control, who has been with the company for almost 30 years. The department was created to further cement the company’s long running commitment to providing quality services and products. The group will work on perfecting the company’s current methodologies and new innovations.
With an emphasis on creating cutting-edge, reliable solutions, DSI recently hired Tony Prettyman as the Director of Software Development. A previous employee, Mr. Prettyman worked at the company from 1999 to 2007 in software support, sales and later software development. Following his time at DSI, Mr. Prettyman worked as a Progress Application Developer and ITS Developer for Consolidated Communications, Inc. He offers a unique perspective as not only a past employee, but also the former employee of a company that used order management software.
