Kindle to Display Book Formats Outside of Its Own?

Saul Hansell speculates for the New York Times that comments this week from Amazon's Jeff Bezos imply that we can expect to see Kindle-formatted books available to read on other e-readers going forward -- and that the Kindle will be able to display books that aren't in the Kindle format.
