LONDON, 05 March 2015 -Technology met learning with today's announcement that Scoopshot, the leading mobile platform for photo and video crowdsourcing, has partnered with Pearson. The learning company is using Scoopshot to reach out to and engage with millennials, crowdsourcing photos to illustrate its publications.

Pearson will use the service to source a variety of user-generated visual content from around the world. To-date, Pearson's requirements have been focused around regional content, provided by Scoopshot's users via its free app. Utilizing Scoopshot's user base of over 600,000 mobile photographers, Pearson has geo-targeted amateur photographers to capture the visual content it requires, at a fraction of the price it would cost to commission a professional photographer.
