Lippincott Williams & Wilkins Releases First eBook Titles in Washington Manual Subspecialty Consult Series
PHILADELPHIA, July 23, 2012 -- Leading healthcare publisher Lippincott Williams & Wilkins (LWW) today announced the release of the first e-book editions in The Washington Manual® Subspecialty Consult Series. Written by residents/fellows and reviewed by faculty at the prestigious Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, the Subspecialty Consult Series includes a total of 11 titles each focused on a different disease area running the gamut from cardiology to hematology and oncology. LWW is part of Wolters Kluwer Health, a leading provider of information and business intelligence for students, professionals, and pharmacy.
The seven revised titles include: Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; Nephrology; Hematology and Oncology; Gastroenterology; Endocrinology; Infectious Disease and Rheumatology. LWW plans to release all of the other titles in the series in eBook format in concurrence with their regular revisions.
