Media Services Group Acquires Veridean Technology Solutions

(Press Release) Phoenix, Arizona, November 29, 2010—Media Services Group (MSGL), a leading developer of integrated publishing and event management software, has acquired the publishing assets of Veridean Technology Solutions (Veridean), an internet strategies and solutions provider. Terms of the acquisition will see the publishing assets of Veridean rolled into a new E-Commerce Division of the Media Services Group. Tom Jensen, former CTO of Penton Media and Co-Founder of Veridean Technology Solutions, will join MSGL as the Vice President of the E-Commerce Division. Non-publishing customers will remain with Veridean and be managed by Carol Jensen.

MSGL and Veridean have worked together over the past several years to develop integrated web modules for the Élan publishing system. Today several turnkey modules are available to Élan customers, including a Content Management System (CMS), online storefront, shopping cart, digital product manager and digital delivery system. Veridean also specializes in website design, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), targeted online advertising, and the repurposing of editorial content for online use. This acquisition will bring these web-native extensions and services under the MSGL umbrella.
