Open Road Integrated Media Partners with Bedford Square Books
(Press Release) New York, NY June 29th 2011— Open Road Integrated Media Inc., a digital publisher and multimedia content company, and Bedford Square Books, the new book publishing venture started by the Ed Victor Literary Agency in London, announced today a new digital publishing partnership to bring Bedford Square Books titles to North America as ebooks and print on demand volumes. The announcement was made by Open Road Cofounder and CEO Jane Friedman and Ed Victor, founder and Chairman of Bedford Square Books LLP.
Bedford Square Books was recently launched in the U.K. to digitally publish a wide range of out-of-print backlist titles written by clients of the Ed Victor Literary Agency. Open Road will digitally publish, market, and distribute Bedford Square titles in North America, including "Good Times, Bad Times" by Sir Harold Evans and "Tales for the Telling" by Edna O'Brien.
The partnership furthers the successful relationship between Open Road and the Ed Victor Ltd agency. As part of its Author Brand Program, Open Road digitally publishes and markets 10 of Dame Iris Murdoch's books, Josephine Hart's "Damage" and "Sin," and 27 Jack Higgins titles, including"The Eagle Has Landed" and "A Season in Hell," which recently appeared at #12 on Amazon.com's bestseller list.
