(Press Release) Newton, MA—Barb Pellow, group director of international market research and strategic consulting firm InfoTrends, received the 2010 Industry Influencer Award from PINE (Printing Industries of New England) during its November 16 Industry Gala Event, part of the New England regional Awards of Excellence competition.
According to PINE president Jim Tepper, Pellow was recognized for her influential guidance to the New England graphic communications community and for her work in helping printing and graphic communication companies develop multi-media strategies to take advantage of the latest information technology.
Pellow received her award in front of hundreds of printing and graphic communications industry professionals gathered at the Newton Marriott to recognize companies from all over New England for their outstanding achievements in printing and the marketing communications.
In her acceptance speech, Pellow acknowledged, "This is an interesting time in the industry. There is uncertainty and fear, but I believe it's the time to take it on—opportunities are ripe. Print service providers need to look at creatives and marketers for ideas. They need to immerse themselves in technology and constantly innovate to stay current."
