Press Release: Sheridan Prints Fairy Tale Classics by the Grimm Brothers
Chelsea, MI - Classic fairy tales have been making a comeback on the movie screen and their popularity has expanded to include the printed word, too. Sheridan Books is proud to be part of this resurgence, having been selected by Princeton University Press to continue the production of Princeton's The Original Folk and Fairy Tales of the Brothers Grimm.
The original two volumes of the Grimm brothers' stories - written over 200 years ago - have come together in one book that, for the first time, is available in English.
Sheridan's high quality web offset printing capabilities coupled with a bright white text stock make the "grim" illustrations come alive. To give the title the classic look it respectfully deserves, the dust jacket is uncoated on the outside and coated on the inside and beautifully compliments the case binding making certain this book is around for years to come.
Neil Litt, Director of Production at Princeton University Press comments, "Throughout this exciting adventure, Sheridan has been unflappable and extremely responsive. And we've only just begun. Press Director Peter Dougherty remarked, 'Given the scholarly originality and superiority of our edition, there is a large, stable course market for this book beyond the holidays and we have the book for this market.' And Princeton University Press has the printer for this book."
"We are grateful for the trust that Princeton University Press has placed in Sheridan to produce this prestigious title" remarks Ed Hartman, Vice President of Operations at Sheridan. "Our long standing partnership allowed us to work together to meet the tight deadlines required to get this book to market."
