New York/Tokyo/Heidelberg, June 5, 2012—Springer and the Japanese Society of Nephrology (JSN) will collaborate to publish the new journal Clinical and Experimental Nephrology (CEN) Case Reports. The e-only journal is one of the official journals of the JSN and addresses clinicians and researchers in the field of nephrology and related areas. It is published twice a year, in May and November, with articles appearing online immediately after peer review (Online First). The first issue is now available on SpringerLink.
Clinical and Experimental Nephrology (CEN) Case Reports is a peer-reviewed journal dealing with topics in nephrology and related disciplines, such as urology. The purpose of CEN Case Reports is to provide clinicians and researchers with a forum in which they can disseminate their personal experience to a wide readership and review interesting cases encountered by colleagues from all over the world. The readers can learn about clinical cases and make use of this knowledge by contributing to the development of clinical medicine.
Kenjiro Kimura, Professor of Medicine at the St. Marianna University School of Medicine, (Kawasaki, Japan) is editor-in-chief. He is supported by renowned editors. The journal appoints many authoritative representatives as consulting editors.
Professor Kimura said, “After the success of the journal Clinical and Experimental Nephrology with a constantly growing number of case reports, JSN decided to launch a specialized journal which focuses on case report articles only.”
