We are currently revamping Futurist Fridays to include even more experts from the industry so that we can showcase their unique perspectives on publishing's future. Stay tuned for upcoming Futurist Friday dates and themes!
Futurist Friday was born of the Futurist Panel, a session held at the 2013 Publishing Business Conference. Our panelists discussed the future of publishing with humor and great insight and of course the audience loved them.
Book Business has decided the conversation needs to be continued in order to grapple with the ever-evolving book industry. As a result, we've created Futurist Friday.
Futurist Friday is a monthly Google Hangout where our Futurists will discuss a dedicated topic that publishers should be thinking about as social, mobile, and digital factors reshape the book. By attending the hangout, you'll be able to watch a live-feed video of the discussion and send the Futurists questions in real-time.
Futurist Friday is held on the second Friday of each month at 2pm. Check out the Book Business Google+ page for more information on upcoming hangouts.
See below for instructions for how to join the Futurist conversation and the upcoming Fridays. (You don't need a Google+ account to watch, but you will in order to join the hangout and ask questions live.)
