Hachette Book Group has struck a licensing agreement with Round Table Companies that will give Round Table access to HBG’s proprietary digital content management system for the purpose of developing an iPad app.

Guinness World Records will release its "Guinness World Records 2011" title as an e-book for the first time "to capitalize on the accelerating digital reader market," according to the company. The e-book will include the same content as the print edition as well as a a fully searchable archive of the achievements listed throughout the publication, which will allow users to find records with the touch of a button.
