Continuing its pattern of higher sales to the education market, the company reported $51.3 million in revenues for the quarter, up 10% from last year's first-quarter sales of $46.8 million. Net income for the quarter was $4.1 million or $.50 per diluted share, an increase of 6% over prior-year results of $3.9 million or $.48 per diluted share.
