Bolloré Thin Papers Receives PEFC Certification for Its Two Production Sites
(Press Release) The audit on the 19th, 20th and 21st of October 2010 by the Bureau Veritas certification body, resulted in the successful renewal of our FSC certification (licence no. C023778) and in obtaining the PEFC certification for both PDL, Papeteries du Léman and PDV, Papeteries des Vosges.
These two certificates guarantee our customers the origins of our raw materials and
assure them that the pulp used to manufacture our grades of paper are derived from
sustainably managed forests. In order to do this, we must ensure the traceability of the finished products sold under the FSC or PEFC labels throughout the supply chains, transformation and manufacture.
Sustainable forest management protects the forest while preserving its biological
diversity, its productivity, its capacity to regenerate and its potential for future
generations.
Bolloré Thin Papers is also delighted to announce that its 2010 Sustainable Development Report will be available in February 2011.
