CBS Corp., the parent company of Simon & Schuster, has released the publisher’s second-quarter revenue results, for the quarter ending on June 30.
Revenue for Simon & Schuster increased 14 percent to $200.3 million compared to $176 million in the second quarter of 2006.
The report cited that the growth was a result of higher sales from several best-selling titles, including “Blaze” by Stephen King, written under his pseudonym Richard Bachman, and “The Secret” by Rhonda Bryne.
