Ingram Adds Harlequin to its MyiLibrary E-book Platform
NASHVILLE, TN—March 5, 2013—As publishers and libraries develop e-book models to meet patron expectations, more are working with Ingram Content Group and its MyiLibrary platform for its reach and comprehensive title offering. Ingram Content Group announced it will add thousands of popular Harlequin titles to the platform.
"We are pleased to expand our e-book distribution with Ingram to include the MyiLibrary e-book platform, which will enable our titles to be available to more library patrons worldwide," said Brent Lewis, executive vice president of North American Marketing and Digital at Harlequin.
Harlequin will add more than 12,000 titles to the MyiLibrary platform. Titles will be both frontlist and backlist, nonfiction and fiction titles, and will be from multiple Harlequin imprints. The company will continue to use Ingram's Lightning Source print-on-demand solution for its print needs.
"As e-book use continues to climb, we're seeing an increase in the adoption and offering of digital content through our MyiLibrary platform," said Dan Sheehan, vice president and general manager, Ingram Content Group library services. "Using the platform, Harlequin will expand the reach of its content to the many libraries that are developing digital programs to meet the needs of their patrons."
