Olive, Plastic Logic Team Up on New eReader
Olive Software and Plastic Logic have announced a partnership that will enable major magazines, newspapers and online publishers to distribute their content on Plastic Logic's forthcoming eReader.
The eReader, due out early next year, will be letter-sized with a thickness of about one-quarter inch.
Olive works with dozens of major magazine publishers including Time Inc., Haymarket and Reed Business Information, and a list of newspapers that includes USA Today and Financial Times.
"We're very focused on helping our publishing partners create unique reading experiences for the Plastic Logic Reader, and Olive is a valuable partner with us in achieving that goal," said Daren Benzi, Plastic Logic's VP of business development. "Olive brings deep experience in serving the needs of major publishers in the industry, including many of our strategic partners."
Plastic Logic recently announced a strategic commerce and content partnership with Barnes & Noble, which is powering the eBookstore for its forthcoming eReader.
