Sonnet Media launches pubspring.us, and the PubSpring platform

Sonnet Media recently launched pubspring.us, the online home of the PubSpring author platform. pubspring.us features a digest of content from authors on the PubSpring network, information on working with Sonnet Media, and more.

Sonnet Media is a digital consultancy that has designed and developed websites for authors, publishers and others for nearly a decade. Past clients include HarperCollins Publishers, New Directions Publishing, New Yorker staff writer David Grann, Pulitzer Prize winner Lorraine Adams, and the novelist James Ellroy.

Bud Parr, president of Sonnet Media, says “The PubSpring platform is a natural extension of our work with publishers and authors at Sonnet Media. Over the years, we have identified the very specific needs of authors challenged with finding their audience, and with the move by publishers to connect with readers online.”

The PubSpring platform enables Sonnet Media’s in house designer/developers to produce an attractive personal website for an author on top of proven, robust tools for managing book related content. PubSpring allows authors to easily post event information, review attention, news, articles and blog posts. Authors can add their own new books, and automatically generate buy buttons to major book vendors.

"Readers want to be able to easily share information on a book. Reviewers might need easy access to a writer's bio, or a quick summary of the review attention a book has received. Booksellers may want to see where the author has appeared already. When writers make that information easy to find, they sell more books. That’s what we enable.”

On the back end, PubSpring users see a dashboard showing traffic statistics from Google Analytics, and a news feed of coverage on the writer from around the web, with more features to come.
