TH(ink) E-Readers 2010 Summit Helps Publishers Master E-reader Technologies and Opportunities
On Wednesday, March 10, mediaIdeas, and independent research and strategy organization) produced the half-day TH(ink) E-readers Summit during the 2010 Publishing Business Conference and Expo at the New York Marriott Marquis, Times Square. The summit explored one of the most disruptive technologies of the 21st century and its impact on the nature of publishing.
More than 120 attendees gathered at the summit to learn about forecasts and successful strategies for taking advantage of opportunities presented by e-reading technologies, as well as content and design limitations and opportunities. Several panels of thought-leaders from e-reader manufacturers, marketers and e-content retailers, as well as from leading book, magazine and newspaper publishers presented effective tactics and business models for adapting to this growing and evolving marketplace.
