Just a reminder that nominations for our second-annual list of “Best Book Publishing Companies to Work For” are now being accepted. The deadline for registration is July 25, so if you think your company should be in the running, register it now. This year, we are working with a new research company, so the process is a little different than last year. (It’s similar to the process Fortune uses to determine its “Top 100 Best Companies to Work For.”)
You can nominate your company yourself if you know the required information (such as Federal Employer ID number), or forward the link (http://www.BestBookCompanies.com) to your human resources manager or company president, CEO or CFO to fill out the registration form.
There is no cost for your company to participate, and all companies (even those that don’t make the final list of “Best Book Publishing Companies to Work For”) benefit from a free “Participation Report,” which provides your company with anonymous feedback from its employees on eight data points essential to positive work environments.
If you would like to register your company, you can do so at: http://www.BestBookCompanies.com. You can browse the site to read about the study and its methodology, or go directly to the registration form at: http://www.BestBookCompanies.com/index.php?option=com_wrapper&Itemid=51
And don’t forget to check out the final list of the 2008 “Best Book Publishing Companies to Work For” in the November issue of Book Business magazine. (If your company makes the list, it will be notified before publication.)
