There is no question that book publishers are testing the waters of every digital format available to them, from e-books (whether for the Amazon Kindle, Sony Reader, Barnes & Noble's Nook, the iPad, and so on) to enhanced e-books or non-e-book, data-driven digital content in new, searchable formats to mobile content and apps.
