“Environmental responsibility is tremendously important to Scholastic and to the families and children we serve,” said Scholastic’s director of paper procurement, Lisa Serra. “We’re printing special Scholastic Book Club editions of popular picture books such as /Pirates Go to School/ by Corinne Demas and /The Amazing Christmas Extravaganza/ by David Shannon on recycled Future Book paper. We’re delighted with the results. Illustrations look sharp and bright against the matte finish. It’s beautiful paper on top of being very green.”
