(Press Release) Lincolnshire, ILLINOIS, March, 2011 - GBC shows its commitment to the on demand print marketplace with its largest booth ever at On Demand. At On Demand 2011 in Washington, DC, GBC will focus on print finishing solutions that transform printed materials into valuable customer applications. The
booth will demonstrate how printers can evolve their businesses for increased revenue and profits. The booth (#2515) will be divided into three distinct production sections highlighting applications from wide format printing and finishing to booklet making and more.
One of the sections of the booth highlights the pairing of a Canon imagePROGRAF Large Format printer with a GBC® laminator, creating a perfect workflow solution that will be available for key markets including printers and educators. These turnkey solutions allow in-plants and print-for-pay providers to quickly and affordably add wide format lamination to their offering. To see how easy wide format applications can be, GBC invites you to their "Make & Take" promotion at On Demand. Bring your favorite image to the show on a USB flash drive and GBC will enlarge and print one image (18" x 24") on the Canon printer, and then laminate
and mount it with its laminator match: the Titan 1244. Don't miss this FREE "Make & Take" opportunity. Stop by the booth and see how your image is transformed and learn how this exciting partnership can bring more profits to your business.
Another section of the GBC booth will feature narrow format lamination. GBC will preview the highly anticipated high-speed one-sided 6020 laminator. The 6020 laminator is designed for the publishing, printing and copy shop markets. With a built-in feeder and separator, GBC will demonstrate the speed, accuracy and efficiency of the 6020 by laminating a booklet cover that will be run through the Plockmatic System 300 booklet maker. The narrow format lamination section will also feature the 620os laminator, with its new automated feeder, running a direct mail application. Both of these laminators are also ideal solutions for printers entering the burgeoning on demand book publishing market. Show visitors can see for themselves the importance of using the proper lamination film through GBC's in-booth demonstration of the effects of humidity on laminated book covers.
