2013 Gold Ink Awards Winners Announced
We are excited to announce that our sister publication, Printing Impressions has announced the winners of this year's Gold Ink Awards. Awards are broken down into five topics, Commercial Printing, Books, Magazines, Catalogs, Digital Printing, and Packaging, with nearly 50 award categories.
A variety of content creators participate in the competition, from designers to printers to advertising agencies, competing for Gold, Silver, and Bronze Ink Awards.
Here are a few of the highlights:
C&C Joint Printing Co. of Shanghai won Gold in the Book Covers categories for their book Time for Conversation. The Guangdong location of C&C Joint Printing Co. snagged silver in this category as well with Salon Painting.
In the Trade Magazines, Web category, Trend Offset won for their May 28th issue of Variety, which featured an inside look at the film Pacific Rim.
For Digital Printing, Photo Books, MyPublier took gold with Ocho Dias en Espana 2013, which documents an eight-day Spanish excursion from Valencia to Cuenca by photographer Mickey Lee.
Arandell Schmidt won Gold in Consumer Catalogs, Web for his strikingly designed Michael Kors Summer 2013 catalog.
