Frankfurt 2023: trading on the up but geopolitical situation casts a long shadow

Publishers and agents have reported a productive and solid Frankfurt Book Fair (FBF) but the “cloud” of the Israel-Gaza conflict has hung over the event, while no huge book truly set the Buchmesse alight.
