(PRESS RELEASE) It was announced today that Charlie Redmayne, formerly of HarperCollins, has been appointed CEO of Pottermore, J.K. Rowling’s new online reading experience.
Redmayne leaves his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Digital Officer with HarperCollins to head up the Pottermore team from Nov. 7, 2011.

Pottermore has been successfully led through launch by Rod Henwood (as its interim Launch CEO). The appointment of Charlie Redmayne marks the next phase of the project, requiring the engagement of a permanent CEO to fulfill its exciting future prospects.
