Editor's Note: Looking for Jobs, Tips, Vendors? We Got ’Em
Perhaps one of the most useful new features is the topic "sections" that have been set up to make it easier for you to go directly to the content that most interests you. Four sections—"Digital Printing," "E-books and Digital Publishing," "Production & Manufacturing," and "Management & Finance"—each serve as the central locations for finding all the latest information (news, interviews, profiles, tips and tools articles, videos, blogs, etc.) on those particular topics.
Speaking of blogs, we've also introduced two new bloggers to the site: Book Business' own Janet Spavlik, who not only has a wealth of knowledge about the book industry, but happens to be a book author as well; and Jabin White, director of strategic content for Wolters Kluwer Health's Professional & Education (P&E) Division, whose "Technically Speaking" blog will address emerging technologies and their impacts on publishing (and likely make you laugh). We'll be adding more blogs throughout the year, so stay tuned. The blogs will be linked in our (free) Book Business Extra e-newsletter as well, so if you're not currently receiving the newsletter, go to our Web site to subscribe now.
If you haven't yet, I hope you'll check out the new site—and, as always, please share your comments, suggestions and especially compliments … who doesn't love those?
