Oyster Launches Ebook Store
No longer just a subscription service Oyster is selling over one million titles direct to consumers.

It will be interesting to see how many subscribers and non-subscribers engage on the new ecommerce platform and what new data insights Oyster can provide publishers now that it can compare subscription and purchase habits. Publishers should also keep an eye out for similar platforms emerging from other ebook subscription services such as Scribd and Entitle.
