Columbia, MD-December 11, 2013-Cenveo Publisher Services, a leading content and print solutions company, welcomes Gregg Sullivan as vice president of sales and marketing for content solutions.  Gregg is responsible for developing new customer relationships and for the refinement of processes and solutions that support customer projects. He will oversee a team of sales executives in North America as well as Europe. Prior to joining Cenveo Publisher Services, Gregg spent more than 3.5 years with SPi Global as SVP of content solutions.

In 1999, a young writer named Jenny Offill published a debut novel called “Last Things,” about a young child being home-schooled by a mother who is slowly going insane. The New York Times called the book, published by Farrar, Straus and Giroux, “remarkable,” and The Los Angeles Times made Ms. Offill a finalist for its award to new writers.

Then Ms. Offill essentially retreated for 13 years.

I love books, especially old ones. Recently I learned a simple dinner table trick from a 110-year-old magic book. It involves picking up a napkin with both hands and, without releasing either corner, tying the napkin into a knot. Good fun and likely unavailable anywhere but in this very old tome. That fact, though, does not make me love ebooks any less or think that they somehow are a better long-term solution for the reading public. Celebrated author Jonathan Franzen thinks otherwise.

LA VERGNE, Tenn. - Ingram Publisher Services Inc., a subsidiary of Ingram Book Group Inc. that specializes in providing distribution services to publishers, and O'Reilly Media Inc., an independent publisher of computer books, today announced they have entered into an exclusive distribution agreement to begin September 2005.
